Braimah Kanneh-Mason won a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music with Mateja Marincovic. He is a member of Chineke! Orchestra, and the Kanneh-Mason Piano Trio which has performed around the UK, in the USA and in the Caribbean, including in The Elgar Room at The Royal Albert Hall and The Barbican.
Braimah won the Nottingham String Player 2015, and he won the Carlton Music Makers Award 2016. He is winner of The Dame Ruth Railton Chamber Music Prize and the John McAslan Violin Prize at The Royal Academy.
