Grade 5 theory preparation classes will be available to pupils of any instrument, who would like an intensive opportunity to study prior to taking the ABRSM Grade 5 theory exam. The Theory classes are taught by Althea Wray.

These classes are open to any pupils – not just those attending the Chamber Players chamber music coaching sessions.

The class size will be a maximum of 8 pupils per session.

The classes will be 2 1/2 hours long, with a break in the middle.

The morning session will run from 10.00am-12.30pm,

and the afternoon session will run from 1.00-3.30pm

The fee is £155 for the week. (Applications received before 23rd April will be charged early applicant rate of £130)

Past papers will be supplied and mock exams will be taken.

Because class sizes for the theory are small, and places are limited. Places will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that we do not enter pupils for exams, families are advised to make their own application to ABRSM (or ask an instrumental teacher to apply).
