Mahaliah Edwards

 

Mahaliah is a violinist and educator. A versatile musician, she is a founder member of the Dunev Quartet, and enjoys a busy career of freelance performing, education work and consultancy. She has worked, performed and collaborated with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Michael Bublé, British Composer Errollyn Wallen, Grammy Award-winning percussionist Lekan Babalola and Haitian-American singer-songwriter and violinist Germa Adan.

Mahaliah trained at the Purcell School and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She teaches violin for Music Masters and is a music teacher and cultural development lead at Cranleigh School. In addition, Mahaliah is a trustee ISM, an alumna trustee for AYM and on the advisory board for Music Masters PGCEi course.

Mahaliah enjoys walking greyhounds, drinking herbal tea and learning Spanish.
